Road Safety in Asian & Latin American Countries - Principles and Approaches: The Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) of Hasselt University organizes the third edition of its road safety training programme which is co-funded by the VLIR-UOS (Flemish InterUniversity Board - University Development Cooperation). During this training programme the participants will get acquainted with ideas, techniques and solutions which will be a surplus value for there career. The participants are taught how to measure and assess road (un)safety and road situations in their own country. Moreover, they will be supplied with possible solutions, specifically adapted to the needs of their country. This group of people will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and competences in their own job straight away. 10-22 October 2010, Hasselt University, Diepenbeek, Belgium.
